First-year student Ronald Thorskin has reportedly aired his grievances to anyone within earshot about his present disappointment with contemporary pornography’s under-utilization of mise-en-scéne.

Thorskin’s ire rose  after opening up to twenty different tabs, including films such as  “A Star is Porn”, “Les Jizzerables”, “The Throatbook”, and “A Dog’s Purpose.”

“It’s become some cheap extraction of real images made into a product of subjective manipulation with reality! Who’s gonna fap to that?” remarked the first-year, who admits to having no issues with using the school wi-fi.

Thorskin’s complaints spanned across all of the productions’ mise-en-scéne, a French term referring to the basic formal visual elements of film composition. “I mean, I can understand scrapping narratology, but to just use natural lighting and an unfurnished nursing home as set design is just inane! If I wanted amateurs, I would have googled amateurs!”

Loud moans could be heard coming from Thorskin’s dorm, although sources confirmed that the sounds are only Thorskin audibly scoffing at his laptop screen in utter darkness, complaining about the discarding of formalism.
