Kamala Harris Launches New Podcast: “Call Her Mamala”
After going on Alex Cooper’s famous podcast “Call Her Daddy,” Kamala Harris has apparently been inspired to follow in her interviewer’s footsteps, recently launching her own podcast: “Call Her Mamala.”
“Call Her Mamala” will be Harris’ first step into the world of podcasting, having only had previous experience working in the more serious world of law and politics. She says she hopes to bring her political experiences into this casual sit-down interview format, though, and has compared podcasting to Senate hearings. While some podcast die-hards fear that “Call Her Mamala” may become an “interrogative and terrifying setting,” Harris counters that it’s all fun and games, just as her questioning of Justice Kavanaugh during his confirmation was really silly and unserious. Because what is more unserious than asking a future supreme court justice who holds in his hands women’s ability to access necessary healthcare, “Can you think of any laws that give government the power to make decisions about the male body?”
In her promotion of the platform, Harris has also emphasized that she “loves to laugh” and can’t wait to show the audience all the great big belly-laughs that this podcast will provide. Harris said she is especially looking forward to her interview of Donald Trump with whom she knows “there will be great laughter at the absurdity of his political positions.”
In response, Trump has also launched his own podcast: “Call Me God.” Unfortunately, he was unable to work out an interview of Kamala Harris, as he was too egotistical to even ask. He, however, did secure an interview with his own Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance who we all know has a great track record of being totally normal on podcasts.
