Ask Flippy: How Does Sprite Cranberry Affect LeBron’s Legacy?

Dear Flippy,

Are you aware that we’re nearing the thirst, thirstiest time of the year? I had this realization recently when I was scrolling through a sea of down-bad pathetic posts on Yik Yak, of which only 10 were from my account. Of course, this got me thinking about the man who knows more about being thirsty than anyone else: Mr. Sprite Cranberry (AKA LeBron James). I mean, he’s a man of many talents: playing basketball, complaining about basketball, being a meme for complaining about basketball. I’m pretty sure he played baseball somewhere in there too… wait no, that was MJ. My bad. He was in Space Jam. Actually, that was MJ too, wasn’t it? I don’t even know anymore. But one has to wonder, with a resume like that, how does Sprite Cranberry affect LeBron’s legacy?

Please respond soon,

A Thirsty RTVF History Dual Major

Dear Thirsty RTVF History Dual Major,

Ah, yes, good ol’ King James. The lord and savior to any sweltering holiday party. In fact, LeBron himself has shown up to my house unannounced with a six pack of ice cold Sprite Cranberry many times. I’ve been trying to work out a restraining order, but he’s always seemed to complain his way out of it.

Anyways, to finally answer your question, I don’t know what LeBron would be without his staple commercial for Sprite Cranberry. His acting performance for that ad alone puts him up there with the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington, and Harry Styles. It truly made LeBron into what he is today, and we should all be eternally grateful for it. Frankly, it was a cultural reset, and that’s that. Glad I could be of assistance. Actually, before I go, I think it’s about time I ask YOU a question. So, I’ll leave you with just this one quick query: Wanna Sprite Cranberry?

Stay Thirsty My Friend,

Flippy
