Northwestern Student Already Has Pretty Good Idea When to Schedule Fall Mental Breakdown
Weinberg freshman Nathan Ford has been attempting to work out his busy schedule for fall quarter. Luckily, he’s just found the perfect place for one of the biggest events of the quarter–his fall mental breakdown.
“It’ll fit perfectly in between these two weeks of straight midterms and the next Friday, when I have 6 papers due,” said Ford when asked about his breakdown.
Many Northwestern students find it difficult to squeeze their mental breakdowns in amongst all their other activities and classes, and have to sacrifice some non-essential scheduling items like food, sleep, socializing, or free time.
When asked how he felt about his ease in scheduling his breakdown, Ford said, “Honestly, I’m mainly relieved. I’ve heard from friends that they’ve had a really hard time with fitting their complete collapse of all mental and emotional health into their schedules. But it looks like it’ll be smooth sailing for me.”
