Boca Raton Residents Play Debate Drinking Game with Mylanta
BOCA RATON, FL — Residents of Century Village, a Boca Raton retirement community, gathered to watch the third and final presidential debate Monday night while they played a drinking game with Mylanta, an over the counter treatment for acid reflux.
Third floor resident Seymo Best Way To Get Your Ex Back Through Texting ur Cohen organized the drinking game as a good way to have fun and reduce flatulence at the same time. “Monday nights are usually a big night for us anyways, because Robby Levine comes and plays piano for us, but this was an even better Monday that killed two birds with one stone,” commented Cohen.
Cohen had to revise the rules of the game midway through the evening; the vast supply of Mylanta was severely depleted after Israel had been mentioned 20 times in the first five minutes. The residents decided to stick to their core rules of drinking one dosage whenever they argued about the Middle East or China, and two dosages if Obama mentioned that Jews are the backbone of this country or Romney implied that Obama still doesn’t have credible foreign policy experience.
There were mixed reviews about the game. “We all felt quite ‘hip’ staying up until 10:30,” said Blanche Weinbaum, whose main source of pop culture updates comes from her two grandsons, Adam and Zachary.
On the other hand, some of the occupants were not pleased. “It messed with my system. I have dinner at 4:45, then I take a bath. After that, I eat two saltines and I’m in bed by 7:30. I don’t like straying from my routine,” grouched Tom Rosen, who is still wondering why his family won’t move down to the nice weather.
Regardless, the drinking game ended up badly for everyone involved, when they all came down with extreme bouts of diarrhea, constipation, and painful erections.
